Cleric Commends Taraba Gov For Demonstrating Competence and Foresight

Taraba State is capable of being Nigeria’s focal State under the leadership and administration of Dr Agbu Kefas if given the best support, encouragement and the peaceful atmosphere to thrive.

These views were expressed by Rt Rev Innocent Rubiruka Solomon, the Bishop of the Crown of Life Bible Church in Jalingo, the Taraba State Capital in a statement he personally signed.
He stressed that the potentials are there for Taraba State to become a leading and a shining State under a credible and well focused administration given not only the natural resources that abound the State but the strong and healthy human capital that the state can equally boast of.
“The setting up of and inauguration of the Local Government Autonomy Advisory Committee comprising of very seasoned administrators, Law makers and experts in Local Government administration is a pointer to the fact that His Excellency Governor Agbu Kefas has come to provide good governance and salvage the state.

“There is nothing that gives confidence to the led than seeing a leader take decisive and well informed steps aimed at addressing challenges like the case in point.
“For the past one year in my considered opinion, the Governor has demonstrated enormous capacity, vision and courage to move the state forward in his many visionary and developmental pursuits.
“Giving the remarkable facelift to the Taraba State Governor’s lodge and liaison office in Abuja, the FCT attest to the fact the he has foresight, wisdom and the expected commitment to bring the desired upliftment to the state”.
He therefore congratulated Dr Agbu Kefas, the Governor of Taraba State for what he described as “this leadership decision” and hoped that the recommendations of the advisory committee will go a long way to help the Taraba State Government chat a very positive course in repositioning the Local Government administration into a development and people focused and truly the third tier of government of the federation of Nigeria.
