Christmas: Bauchi Govt Distributes Food Items to Christian Communities

The Bauchi State Government has allocated funds for the purchase and distribution of food items valued at millions of naira to the Christian communities throughout the state to enhance the Christmas celebrations.
During a press briefing in Bauchi, Mr. Abdon Dalla Gin, Chairman of the Standing Committee for the Distribution, said the initiative underscores the government’s dedication to promoting inclusivity among various religious groups within the state.
Mr. Gin disclosed that the distributed items consist of 77 bulls, 139 rams, over 1,500 bags of rice, and 178 jerricans of vegetable oil.
He praised Governor Bala Mohammed for this generous gesture and encouraged the Christian community to show their appreciation by supporting the policies and programs of his administration.
Additionally, he mentioned that the chairmen of the twenty local government areas are enhancing this initiative by providing further assistance to Christians in their respective areas.
Mr. Gin urged Christians to take the opportunity of the Christmas and New Year celebrations to pray for the ongoing successes of Governor Bala Mohammed’s administration and the overall advancement of Bauchi State.
