In a heartfelt tribute issued to newsmen in Yola, the Adamawa State capital, Chief Myebangara described the former SGF as a “true democrat and nationalist.”
He praised Barrister Mustapha as a key figure who diligently nurtured the nation’s democracy and played a pivotal role in reshaping the country during his tenure as SGF.
“Attaining 69 years in good health is truly a cause for celebration,” stated Chief Myebangara.
“He is a detribalized politician who accommodates everyone he encounters.”
Reflecting on Mustapha’s distinguished career, which includes serving as Chairman of the Presidential Task Force on COVID-19, Managing Director of the Nigerian Inland Waterways Authority (NIWA), and his foundational role as a first-generation politician in Adamawa State since the days of the Social Democratic Party (SDP), the Shettiman Batta noted:
“I have known Barrister Boss Mustapha as an exceptional legal luminary, a disciplinarian, and a dedicated public servant.”
