CHIEF CALEB EXTENDS NEW YEAR FELICITATIONS TO ADAMAWA PEOPLE, HAILS GOV FINTIRI’S LEADERSHIP

As the dawn of the year 2026 breaks, Chief Caleb Andrew Myebangara (Shettiman Batta), a foremost Governorship aspirant in Adamawa State, has extended heartfelt New Year felicitations to the resilient people of the state.

In a comprehensive statement released to the Press in Yola, the Shettiman Batta celebrated the spirit of unity and perseverance demonstrated by Adamawa citizens throughout the preceding year.
The statement conveyed special congratulations to the State Governor, His Excellency Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri (CON), and the First Lady, Hajiya Lami Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri.

It also extended greetings to government functionaries, the revered traditional institution, the political class, stakeholders, and all residents across the state’s 21 local government areas.
Chief Myebangara offered a robust commendation over the developmental achievements under Governor Fintiri’s leadership, which he noted have firmly positioned Adamawa among Nigeria’s most progressive states in 2025.
He highlighted the administration’s transformative impact, particularly through its landmark urban renewal initiatives, describing them as setting “a benchmark for selfless service.”
Looking ahead, the aspirant expressed optimism that 2026—a pivotal year preceding the 2027 general elections—will be marked by peace and productivity, even amidst a gradual uptick in political engagements.
“The future of Adamawa State remains bold and limitless, as evidenced by the current administration’s trajectory,” Chief Myebangara stated.
He further positioned his aspiration within this continuum of progress, asserting that “only tenacious and God-fearing leadership,” such as he offers, can drive the state towards greater prosperity.
“Caleb is out to inspire and deliver on the trust reposed in him by consolidating the present gains recorded so far in the state,” the statement declared.
The Shettiman Batta also offered prayers for divine mercy in the new year, seeking peace, harmonious coexistence, and an economic boom within the state’s rich cultural diversity.
Concluding with a call to unity, he urged, “Together, we shall continue reinventing and writing the next great chapter of our history as the 2027 elections draw closer.”
