CHIEF CALEB CONDOLES WITH FAMILY, LCCN OVER THE PASSING OF ARCHBISHOP NEMUEL BABBA

A prominent Adamawa State politician and Governorship hopeful, under the Platform of the PDP, Chief Caleb Andrew Myebangara JP, FCA (Shettima Batta Kingdom), has expressed his deep condolences to the immediate family, the Lutheran Church of Christ in Nigeria (LCCN), the Lutheran World Federation and indeed the entire good people of Adamawa State over the passing of Most Rev. Nemuel A. Babba.

The Archbishop Emeritus was the immediate past Leader of the LCCN, Nigeria.
The revered cleric passed away on November 24, 2025, in the Faroe Islands, Denmark.
In a condolence message released on Tuesday, Chief Caleb described the death of the Archbishop as a “colossal loss” not only to his immediate family and the Lutheran community but also to Adamawa State and the Nation at large.
The Governorship aspirant praised the late Archbishop for dedicating his entire life to the service of God and Humanity.

He noted that Babba’s ministry, which spanned from Denmark to Nigeria, was marked by inspiring the Christian faithful and propagating the word of God for the Salvation of souls.
According to Chief Caleb, the late Archbishop would be remembered for his “humility, kindness, prayerfulness, and humanitarian gestures,” as well as his steadfast commitment to reuniting the LCCN as a denomination firmly rooted in the ideals of the Bible and Christianity.
“I’m truly shocked by his passing, though it is written that: ‘To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven’ (Ecclesiastes 3:1),” the statement read.
It continued: “My heartfelt sympathy goes to the family, the Benghun Community in Fufore Local Government, the entire Christendom, and the Government and people of Adamawa State.”
Chief Caleb concluded his message with a prayer, saying, “May the great man of God find eternal rest with the Almighty God. Amen.”
