CHIEF CALEB COMMISERATES WITH ADAMAWA FLOOD VICTIMS
–commends Gov Fintiri for quick response

Chief Caleb Andrew Myebangara FCA (Shettiman Batta) has extended his heartfelt sympathy to victims of Saturday to Sunday morning heavy down pour that claimed 23 lives, injured about 55 and devastated residents of Shagari phase 11, Sabon-pegi, Tashan-Sani, Yolde-Pate, Lakare all in Yola-South Local Government Area of the state.

The heavy floods which brought reptiles like snakes and threats of epidemics in the area, submerged many houses with negative effects.
The Governorship hopeful in a sympathy message personally signed on Monday, urged the victims to take solace in the Almighty God as disasters are unforseen circumstances.
Chief Caleb also called for calm and prayers at these trial moment as Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri has already deployed intervention measures to cushion the devastation.

While commending rescue organizations like the Red Cross, ICRC, ADSEMA and NEMA for their emergency responses, the Governorship hopeful advised those residing in river banks and flood prone areas to be on red alert for any eventualities.

He appealed to organisations and good Samaritans to reach out to the affected victims fo a reprieve.
