Chelsea Humbled By Leeds United in a Painful Defeat

Chelsea failed to build on the momentum that saw them dispatch FC Barcelona in the UEFA Champions League and how they were able to hold Arsenal to a one-all draw, even with ten men, after Moises Caceido was red carded in a pulsating encounter at the Stamford Bridge stadium in the Premier League.
Enzo Maresca took his Chelsea team to Elland Road to confront Leeds United and put more pressure on Arsenal at the top of the league table.
Still, they failed woefully as they were beaten 3-1 by the Daniel Farke boys, denting their image and title charge.
As a result, Chelsea has dropped to the fourth position in the table, having been leapfrogged by Aston Villa.
Arsenal silence Brentford at the Emirate Stadium in London with goals from Mikel Moreno and Bukayo Saka to restore a five point lead ahead of Manchester City which had earlier defeated Fulham 5-4 in a nine goal thriller at the Craven Cottage Stadium to hold tight to the second position while Liverpool FC again fail to click as they were held to a one all draw by impressive Sunderland at Anfield stadium as Aston Villa display a remarkable turnaround to defeat stubborn Brighton and Albion Hove 4-3.
Tottenham Hotspur travelled to Saint James Park Stadium to confront Newcastle United, but were held to a two-all draw by Eddie Howe’s boys. Wolves, yet to win a single match this season, lost again to Nottingham Forest, and Crystal Palace beat Burnley.
Manchester United host West Ham United at Old Trafford on Thursday evening.
In the Spanish La Liga, FC Barcelona dispatched Atletico Madrid 3-1 to maintain their lead at the top of the league, while Real Madrid put 3 goals past Athletic Bilbao to remain second.
