Borno State Forum of 136 APC Supporters and Beneficiaries of Contract Awards Expressed appreciation to Governor Zulum

In recognition of Governor Babagana Umara Zulum’s unwavering commitment to rewarding dedication and loyalty within the All Progressives Congress (APC), over 136 party supporters in Borno State have expressed their heartfelt appreciation for the governor’s recent award of contracts to grassroots politicians.
Speaking through their forum chairman,Hon Goni Mala Machina and woman leader of the group, Hajiya Yagana Zarah, the beneficiaries commended Professor Babagana Umara Zulum, for his magnanimity and consistent efforts in acknowledging the sacrifices of party loyalists who have worked tirelessly for the growth and success of the APC in the state.
The chairman noted that this is the third batch of contract awards given to a large group of APC supporters this year, describing it as a testament to the governor’s inclusive and appreciative leadership style.
“These contracts have not only empowered us economically but have also boosted our morale to continue working for the progress of our great party,” the chairman stated.
“Some beneficiaries have even been able to acquire homes from the proceeds of the contracts—this is life-changing.”
As part of their appreciation tour, the forum members paid a courtesy visit to the residence of the APC State Chairman, Alhaji iBello Ayuba where they presented him a letter of appreciation addressed to Governor Zulum.
The letter highlighted the governor’s recognition of the efforts of party faithful and his proactive steps in rewarding them accordingly.
In response, Alhaji Bello Ayuba expressed his delight and described the gesture as unprecedented.
“This is the first time a group of politicians are coming together to publicly appreciate the government for its support,” he said.
“Under the leadership of Governor Zulum, the APC will continue to reward loyalty, hard work, and sacrifice.”
The forum reaffirmed their unflinching support for the APC and pledged to remain steadfast in their service to the party and the people of Borno State.
Later as a symbol of their gratitude, they have collectively contributed money which they purchased and slaughtered a cow as a sacrificial offering, accompanied by special prayers for the continued protection, strength, and wisdom of Governor Zulum.
Prayers were also offered for the sustained unity of the APC and for lasting peace and development in Borno State.
The group further procured assorted drinks and other valuable items, which they presented to the APC State Secretariat.
These gestures, they said, were meant to underscore their heartfelt appreciation for the governor’s kindness and recognition of their contributions to the party.
“This sacrifice and the accompanying prayers are our humble way of thanking the governor for transforming our lives through the contracts awarded to us,” said the forum’s spokespersons.
“We pray that Almighty God continues to guide and protect him and grant the APC greater strength and success.”
The forum reaffirmed their loyalty to the APC and pledged to continue working diligently to ensure the party’s victory in future elections.
