——Commends Senator Bala Mohammed on Healthcare
By Fidelis Jockthan
The Chairman of Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC), Bauchi State Chapter, Comrade Dauda Shuiabu, has called on Northeast Governors to form a united front in tackling pockets of insecurity plaguing the region.

Shuiabu made the appeal during an interaction with journalists in Yola, the Adamawa Capital on the sidelines of the ongoing Northeast Zonal meeting of the Medical and Health Workers’ Union.
The NLC chairman stressed the urgency of the situation, particularly as the rainy season reaches its peak—a critical period when farmers in the region are engaged in agricultural activities vital for food security.
Speaking on the 22nd Northeast Zonal meeting of the Medical and Health Workers’ Union, Shuiabu noted that the gathering provides a strategic opportunity for leaders from the geopolitical zone to review financial reports, assess achievements, and address challenges in the health sector with actionable solutions.
