Bauchi Sports Commissioner bags traditional title

The Sarkin Hausawan Turai in Paris, France, Alhaji Dr Mohamed Sirajo Djankado has conferred a traditional title of Cigarin Hausawan Turai to the Bauchi State Commissioner of Youth and Sports Development, Alhaji Adamu Babayo Gabarin.

This is contained in a statement signed by the Secretary of Masarautar Hausawan Turai, Dr Mubarak Mahmud and made available to newsmen in Baúchi.
The statement said, the conferment of the title of Cigarin Hausawan Turai on Adamu Babayo Gabarin was based on his track records in fostering harmonious relationship with Hausawan Turai emirate.
The statement urged Alhaji Adamu Babayo Gabarin to use his wealth of experience in human relations to contribute towards the development of traditional institutions and uphold its values in Nigeria and diaspora.
The statement congratulated the Cigarin Hausawan Turai, wished him success and Allah’s guidance on the new assignment.
Alhaji Adamu Babayo Gabarin, the current Commissioner of Youth and Sports Development in Bauchi state, was recently elected as the North East representative of the Athletics Federation of Nigeria (AFN).
