Bauchi SBN Inaugurates Interim Leadership

The Bauchi State Chapter of the Society of Nigerian Broadcasters (SNB) has inaugurated its interim leadership team.
The newly appointed interim officials include Alhaji Muhammad Inuwa Bello, General Manager of Eagle Radio, as Chairman; Dr. Bello Beli from the Mass Communication Department of the Federal Polytechnic Bauchi, as Vice Chairman; Umar Muhammad Shira of Bauchi Radio as Secretary; and Abubakar Musa Waziri of Radio Nigeria, Globe FM as Assistant Secretary.
Others are Isa Garba Gadau of Bauchi State Television who will serve as Treasurer, while Dr Adamu Muhammad Hamid from Federal Polytechnic Bauchi has been appointed as Mobilization Officer.
In his acceptance speech, Alhaji Inuwa Bello urged the new leaders to collaborate in elevating the standards of broadcasting within the state and the nation at large.
He expressed his commitment to partnering with media organizations to expand membership and announced plans to embark on membership drive to all the media outlets starting from next week.
The Chairman tasked Broadcast Professionals and Academics of the Communication family to join the society as a rallying umbrella for enhancing professionalism.
