During a recent awareness campaign in Bauchi, the Rector of the Academy, Dr. Ahmad Sulaiman Yaro, highlighted the various courses and opportunities available at the institute.

He revealed that BOGAA currently offers eight courses under its Skills Acquisition program, eight courses under its Diploma in Oil and Gas program, and four specialized courses under its Core Oil and Gas program.

Through this partnership, 50 individuals will be trained in key industry courses such as RigPass and Basic Principles of Petroleum, among others.

“This is a core course in the oil and gas sector, and we are proud to partner with PetroEd, a US-based institute. The Governor has already covered the engagement fees for the training of 50 individuals. We are currently advertising three courses in this regard, and I can assure you that the professional certifications awarded after the training are internationally recognized. We are now awaiting applications from interested candidates,” Dr. Yaro explained.
