Bauchi made impressive performance in Asaba NYG as Three qualified for finals in Gymnastics

As the National Youths Games in Asaba continue after the official opening ceremony on Thursday, Team Bauchi on Saturday made an impressive performance in Male Gymnastics Category, where Gideon Omale, Hamza Nasiru and Macheal Efa qualified for the finals in Vault, Pommel and Aerobic respectively.

It is interesting to report that with this development, Team Bauchi has started recording medals in its fould, as the final of these three qualifiers comes up on Monday, which in any case is either Gold, Silver or Bronze for Bauchi
The Female Category of the Gymnastics will begin Sunday 15th September,2024 at Stephen Keshi Stadium Asaba.
The Bauchi female gymnastics team who are on high spirits, expressed confidence that their Male Counterpart will put in their best to add more metals to the Bauchi table to justify their participation in the tournament
Chidera Victor, Elizabeth John and Damola Santos both 13 years old from Bauchi, will on Saturday engage their Counterparts from other states in Vault, Pommel and Aerobic categories.
Speaking in an interview, one of the players, Chidera Victor at the Gymnastic Hall during training, said ” as you can see we are ready for the game, that is why we are intensifying training preparing well for tomorrow’s encounter”.
” I want to assure you and the sports loving people of Bauchi state that by this time tomorrow God’s willing, like our Male Counterpart in team Bauchi who are waiting for final and already in Medal stage, we would also be part of history by qualifying for final in our various categories and finally celebrate the three gold medals.” She assured.
