Bauchi Govt To Upgrade College of Education, Technical Dass

Governor Bala Mohammed of Bauchi State has announced plans to upgrade the College of Education Technical Dass, in view of the importance of producing skilled graduates.
Speaking during the inauguration of road construction projects in the Dass local government area, the Governor highlighted that the state is collaborating with the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) to secure course accreditation for the college.
He also addressed the rising youth unrest in the state, advocating for investments in technical education as a means to enhance youth productivity.
The road construction initiatives include a township project in Dass valued at 7.3 billion naira and a connecting road to Rimin Zayam costing 8 billion naira.
Additionally, a bypass in Nabordo town, Toro local government area and various township roads in the state capital have been inaugurated.
The Emir of Dass, Alhaji Usman Bilyaminu Othman, expressed gratitude on behalf of the local communities, noting that these projects will improve transportation and foster socio-economic growth.
