Bauchi Gov Swears in 8 New Commissioners

Governor Bala Mohammed of Bauchi State has swore in eight new Commissioners and assigned them to their respective duties.

Among them are Alhaji Usman Shehu, who will take charge of the Ministry of Information and Communication, Dr. Iliyasu Aliyu Gital, who will head the Ministry of Agriculture, and Dr. Bala Musa Lukshi, who will oversee the Ministry of Livestock Development.

Isah Babayo Tilde will be responsible for the Ministry of Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs.

Additionally, Professor Titus Ketkuka will lead the Ministry of Works and Transport, Alhaji Adamu Babayo Gabarin will take on the Ministry of Youth and Sports, Alhaji Abdullahi Muhammed Gwaram will head the Ministry of Lands and Survey, and Dr. Lawan Rimin Zayam will be in charge of the Ministry of Education.

During the swearing-in ceremony, Governor Bala Mohammed stressed the importance of holding the newly appointed commissioners accountable and monitoring their performances to ensure their effectiveness.

He reminded them that their positions are a trust and that they will be held responsible for their actions.

In another development, the governor has approved the reassignment of four current commissioners to different ministries.

Amina Muhammed Katagum will move from the Ministry of Lands and Survey to the Ministry of Budget and Economic Planning, Ibrahim Gambo Galadima will take over the Ministry of Internal Security and Home Affairs from the Ministry of Works and Transport.

Mohammed Salis Gamawa has been transferred from the Ministry of Youth and Sports Development to the Ministry of Commerce, Industry, and Investment, and Engr. Binni Abdulkadir will move from the Ministry of Commerce, Industry, and Investment to the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Societal Reorientation.
