Bauchi Gov Expresses joy over quality of work at Wailo NYSC Camp, Azare Ultra Modern Market

Governor Bala Mohammed of Bauchi State has inspected the renovation of phase One of the NYSC permanent Orientation Camp in Wailo Village of Ganjuwa Local Government area of the State, where he expressed satisfaction with the quality of work executed by the Contractor.

The Governor during an unscheduled visit to the project site, inspected the newly completed corps members’ hostels and the ongoing construction of a multipurpose hall.

Addressing journalists after the inspection, Governor Mohammed explained that the project was intented to address the problem of infrastructural decay and improve the living conditions of corps members posted to the state.

He commended the contractor for adhering strictly to specifications and assured that the state government would add value to the project by constructing new buildings and internal roads.

The State Chairman of the Project Monitoring and Evaluation Committee, Architect Baba Muhammed Dadi, who conducted the Governor round the site, assured him that the work would stand the test of time.

In a related development, Governor Bala Mohammed also inspected the ongoing construction of the Azare Ultra Modern Market in Azare town to assess the progress of the project.

During the inspection, the Governor urged business operators in Azare and the Katagum area to show more commitment by depositing funds that could be recycled into the construction of the market.

He noted that, at the moment, the project is solely being funded by the state government and the contractor.

Governor Bala Mohammed reaffirmed his administration’s dedication to delivering quality projects aimed at fostering economic growth and improving living standards in Bauchi State.
