Bauchi Gov Drops Five Commissioners, Proposes Eight to strengthen Service delivery

In his determination to reinvigorate governance and ensure desired service delivery to the people of Bauchi State, the Executive Governor, Senator Bala Mohammad has reconstituted his cabinet, by disengaging five commissioners to enhance his administration’s commitment to injecting new ideas and energy into governance, in line with the Governor’s vision of strengthening the machinery of government and addressing emerging challenges effectively.

The commissioners dropped are: Dr. Jamila Dahiru, Commissioner of Education, Barr. Abubakar Abdulhameed Bununu, Commissioner of Internal Security and Home Affairs, Comrade
Usman Danturaki, Commissioner of Information and Communication, Professor Simon Madugu Yalams, Commissioner of Agriculture and
Alhaji Yakubu Ibrahim Hamza Commissioner of Religious Affairs and Societal Reorientation.
The Governor expressed profound gratitude to the outgoing commissioners for their dedication, service, and invaluable contributions to the growth and development of Bauchi State.
He said, “their efforts have been instrumental in advancing key initiatives and policies of this administration. Therefore i wish them success in their future endeavors”, expressing confidence that they will continue to contribute meaningfully to the progress of Bauchi State and Nigeria.
“This cabinet reconstitution is a routine measure aimed at enhancing the administration’s effectiveness” he said.
This was conveyed to Journalists in a Press statement signed and issued by the Special Adviser on Media and Communication to the Governor, Comrade Mukthar Gidado, in Bauchi.
The statement confirmed that Governor Bala Mohammed has also forwarded the names of Eight individuals for security clearance and subsequent confirmation as Commissioners by the Bauchi State House of Assembly.
The proposed Commissioners are, Hon. Isa Babayo Tilde – Toro Local Government Area, Abdullahi Mohammed – Misau Local Government Area, Dr. Bala Musa Lukshi – Dass Local Government Area and Usman Usman Shehu – Shira Local Government Area.
Others are Iliyasu Aliyu Gital from Tafawa Balewa Local Government Area,
Prof. Titus Saul Ketkukah also from Tafawa Balewa Local Government Area,
Hon. Adamu Babayo Gabarin – Darazo Local Government Area and Dr. Mohammed Lawal Rimin Zayam from Toro Local Government Area.
Governor Bala Mohammed reiterated that he is committed to fulfilling the mandate of his administration and assured of providing dividends of democracy to Citizens inline with the dreams of the founding fathers of Bauchí.
