Bauchi Gov Approves Recruitment of 10,000 Civil Servants to Boost State Workforce

Governor Bala Mohammed has approved the recruitment of 10,000 civil servants across various Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs) to enhance efficiency and service delivery in the state.

The State Head of Civil Service, Muhammad Sani Umar, disclosed this during a visit to the Chairman of the Civil Service Commission, Dr. Ibrahim Mohammed.
He revealed that a dedicated recruitment portal has been developed to streamline the hiring process.
According to Umar, the portal is designed to ensure transparency, equity, and fairness while facilitating the selection of qualified candidates.
He explained that the purpose of the visit was to present the portal to the Commission and other key stakeholders for their input and recommendations to ensure its effectiveness.
Commending the State’s Information and Communication Technology (ICT) unit for developing the portal within a short timeframe, Umar urged all stakeholders to support the initiative for a successful recruitment exercise.
He expressed confidence that the process would commence promptly once all necessary steps are finalized, emphasizing Governor Bala Mohammed’s commitment to strengthening the state’s workforce.
In response, Dr. Ibrahim Mohammed, Chairman of the Civil Service Commission, praised the Office of the Head of Civil Service for the innovation and assured full support to ensure the success of the recruitment exercise.
