Bauchi Gov Appreciates Chinese Investors for Economic Growth, Community engagement

Bauchi State Governor, Bala Mohammed has re-iterated his administration’s commitment to a transparent and sincere beneficial partnership with investors that indicated interest in operating in the state.
The governor stated this during a courtesy visit by the management of China’s Shandong Minsheng Group at Government House Bauchi.
He recalled the 2023 agreement between Bauchi State and Shandong Province which opened new frontiers for effectiveness and enhanced economic diplomacy toward accelerating industrial growth and mining across the state.
The governor commended the group for adhering to timelines, promoting inclusivity and engaging host communities, describing their approach as a clear departure from past mining practices that excluded the host communities and denied government revenue for many years.
While Commending the company for training local workers and engaging communities that demonstrate sincere and long-term commitment to shared prosperity, governor Bala, said the joint venture operates under Nigeria and Chinese laws with defined roles and timelines.
He assured investors of adequate security throughout their stay in all parts of the state and instructed the host communities to safeguard the properties provided.
Earlier, Chairman of the group Mr. Yu Tao appreciated the state government for the partnership and affirmed the company’s readiness to invest responsibly, create jobs and ensure the joint venture delivers lasting value to Nigeria and China.
