Bauchi Gov Appoints New Emir of Ningi

The Bauchi State Governor, Senator Bala Mohammed has appointed Alhaji Haruna Yunusa Muhammadu Danyaya as 16th Emir of Ningi.
The appointment letter was conveyed by the Secretary to the State Government, Barrister Ibrahim Kashim who led a delegation to Ningi Emir’s Palace.
The development came eight days after the death of his father, Alhaji Yunusa Muhammadu Danyaya who died at a hospital in Kano after a protracted illness.
He congratulated the new Emir for the appointment and urged him to discharge his responsibilities in the best interest of his subjects.
Until his appointment as the new Emir of Ningi, Haruna Yunusa Muhammadu Danyaya was the District Head of Ningi.
Alhaji Haruna Yunusa Danyaya applied for the position alongside twenty two other contenders.
