Bauchi Gov Advocates For Robust Partnership in Addressing Security Challenges

In an exciting mood full of appreciation to receive Participants of Course 33 from the National Defense College, Abuja, Governor Bala Mohammed of Bauchi State, Tuesday dwelt on the need for robust partnerships in addressing security challenges in the Country as yard stick for development.
The Military Participants visit to Bauchi is part of a study tour aimed at understanding regional security dynamics and effective governance practices.
Governor Bala Mohammed while welcoming the participants, led by the Commandant, Rear Admiral Olumuyiwa Morakinyo at Government House Bauchi, reiterated with emphasis that his administration’s focus on security reflects an ongoing commitment to collaboration with security agencies to create a stable environment for education, agriculture, and economic activities that citizens of Bauchi State would be proud of.
Bala Mohammed comfortably said that the move is essential for the well-being and economic progress of Bauchi State’s Communities as promised during campaign, hence the need to engage and collaborate any security advantage to protect them to enjoy dividends of democracy.
He said through the collaborative efforts with conventional security agencies, vigilante, traditional and religious leaders, the state remained the most peaceful in the northern part of the country and pledged to consolidate on the advantage.
The Governor on behalf of the people of Bauchí State, expressed gratitude for their coming and wished them successful study tour and safe return to Abuja.
As leader of the delegation, the commandant of the college, Rear Admiral Morakinyo, commended the Governor’s commitment and efforts to initiate integration of local and national security to protect lives and property of the governed.
Rear Admiral Olumuyiwa, expressed optimism that the study tour will allow participants to develop informed, actionable recommendations that would overcome both regional and national security issues.
