Bauchi First Lady delivers Senator Oluremi’s Five hundred Million Naira Message to less privileged in Bauchí

No fewer than Two hundred and fifty Men and Women from the age of Sixty and above benefited from Two Hundred thousand Naira rain drop each in Bauchi State by the First Lady of Nigeria, Senator Oluremi Tinubu’s Five hundred Million Naira.

Senator Oluremi Tinubu said the Governing Board of the Renewed hope initiative has decided to increase the grand from One hundred to Two Hundred Thousand Naira this year to provide further support to the elderly Citizens during this year’s festive Season.

The Nigerian First Lady stated this through the State Coordinator of the Program, the First Lady of Bauchí State, Hajiya Aisha Bala Mohammed, at the Dr. Rilwan Sulaiman Adamu Square Government House Bauchi recently, where she announced that the total sun of One Billion, Nine Hundred Million has been disbursed across the Nation.

She revealed that the Coordinators of the Renewed hope initiative in the thirty six states of the federation who are wives of governors and first ladies of various states, FCT and DEPOWA have received five hundred Million Naira each.

Senator Oluremi Tinubu, therefore called on the beneficiaries to make judicious use of the Money and Commended Bauchi State First Lady (Dr) Aisha Bala Mohammed for her commitment and support to the success of the programme in the state.

Earlier in her welcome speech, the Commissioner of Women Affairs in the state Hajiya Zainab Baban Tanko , said the programme came at no better time than now considering the hard situation being faced by particularly the targeted beneficiaries of this historic and people oriented program which will go along way in assisting and reducing unbearing economic challenges of the beneficiaries and larger society in the state.

Baban Tankko used this forum to commend both the initiator of the Renewed hope programme, the First Lady of the federation Senator Oluremi Tinubu and the First Lady of Bauchí State Hajiya Aisha Bala Mohammed for their efforts and commitment towards assisting the less privileged in the society and called on the beneficiaries of use the money appropriately and pray for the betterment of Nigeria where every Citizen would be proud of being a Nigerian.
