Bauchi Correspondent’s Chapel Mourns Death of Daily Post Newspaper Reporter, Hafsat Adebayo

The Chairman, Correspondents’ Chapel, Nigeria Union of Journalists, Bauchi State Council, Mallam Ahmed Mohammed, has on behalf of all Members of the Chapel, expressed sadness over the passing away of a Female Colleague, Hajia Hafsat Adebayo.

Late Hajia Hafsat, gave up on Monday morning after battling with prolonged brain tumor at her family residence at the Federal Lowcost Bauchi.

She was a hardworking journalist representing Daily Post Newspaper as Correspondent in Bauchi for several years.

Her burial ceremony took place at about 11: am on Monday in accordance with Islamic rites.

She left behind one Son and relatives.

She was a one-time Financial Secretary and Treasurer of the Correspondent’ Chapel in Bauchi State.

The Correspondent’s Chapel Chairman described late Hajia Hafsat as very friendly, Polite , respective and a brilliant writer who touched the lives of countless people.

“Inna lillahi wa inna ilaihi rajioun. My esteemed colleagues, it is with profound sadness that we received the passing away of our esteemed colleague, Mrs Hafsat Adebayo.

“Hafsat was a dedicated colleague, a passionate mother, and a brilliant reporter who touched the lives of countless people. Her wisdom, guidance, and unwavering commitment to excellence will be deeply missed.

“We extend our heartfelt condolences to Hafsat’s family, friends, and loved ones during this difficult time. May her legacies continue to inspire and motivate us to strive for more excellence and professionalism,” he prayed.
