Bachama Kingmakers Commend Justice Nathan Musa, Adamawa CJ Over Appeal Court Verdict On Lamurde

The ‘Jeke Hadiyo’, King Makers of Bachama kingdom have commended Retired Justice Nathan Musa (Sarkin Alkalan Adamawa) for deploying his wealth of knowledge in judicial jurisprudence on the verdict that vindicated their kinsman, Barrister Jonathan Sanda Lamurde even at the Appeal Court.
Jeke Alexander James led a high powered delegation of the Kingmakers for a ‘Thank You visit’ to the retired Chief Judge of Adamawa State, Justice Nathan Musa, the Chief Judge of Adamawa State, Justice Hafsat Abdulrahman as well as Justice Mahmud Danladi retired .
The Kingmakers who dressed in their black traditional attires told the Retired Judge that even their forefathers are happy with the judgements of both the lower Court and the Appeal Court.
“Your Lordship, you have proven that you are a man of integrity. A man of high repute in the judicial jurisprudence.
Thank God that our Brother, Barrister Jonathan Sanda Lamurde is alive to witness this great day of his vindication by the Appeal Court.
We are so grateful your Lordship, you can see even from the face of our inlaw (Sanda’s Wife) and the entire family are happy”.
Justice Nathan Musa who was visibly delighted by the Kingmakers, said ‘assuming I took side in my proceedings and favour Barrister Sanda Lamurde, the Appeal Court would have nullified the entire decision of the High court,
I scrutinized and found him not culpable of the offences and acquitted him.
It is the same scrutiny the Appeal Court did and consolidated on my verdict.
I advised every judge to be honest, because the Almighty God is watching all of us”.
At the house of the Chief Judge of Adamawa State, Justice Hafsat Abdulrahman, the Jeke Hadiyo commended her for restoring the lost glory of the Judiciary.
“Yes your Lordship, we are here to thanked you and other judges for the good job that you are doing as well as commending your constituency for the landmark judgement delivered by the Appeal Court by throwing the case of Barrister Sanda Lamurde into the dustbin”.
Justice Hafsat Abdulrahman who traced the excellent relationship of her country home with the Bwatiye people, expressed appreciation for their visit.
The Kingmakers were earlier at the personal residence of their kinsman, Barrister Jonathan Sanda Lamurde to also commend his wife for her resilience during the trial moments in Court.
A similar thank you visit was also paid to Justice Mahmud Danladi at his Yola residence.
