Alumnus Returns to Alma Mater with Life-Changing Gift of Solar Boreholes

An Alumnus of the Federal Polytechnic Kaura Namoda and Member House of Representatives Representing Bungudu/Maru Federal Constituency, Hon Dr. Abdulmalik Zubairu Zannan Bungudu has handed over the completed 5 number solar powered boreholes projects executed in the Institution.
Recalled that the donor, Zannan Bungudu had in the past few months, received the new management team of the Polytechnic led by the Rector, Dr. Aminu Yusuf Kaura Namoda in a courtesy visit where he pledged to look into the concerns of the Polytechnic community.
Speaking while handing over the facilities to the institution, Dr. Zannan Bungudu represented by Aminu Lawal Bungudu urged the management and the entire community to make the best utilisation of the facilities through rigorous maintenance with a view to safeguarding and sustaining them.
“Water is indeed critical in our lives, hence the need for the management and community of this institution to devise means of sustaining these facilities in order to avoid vandalization” Zannan Bungudu said.

Receiving the facilities on behalf of the Polytechnic management team, Rector of the institution, Dr. Aminu Yusuf Kaura Namoda said what Zannan Bungudu did to the institution was what is expected on every alumni member and political leaders.
According to him, water inadequacy which had been part of the challenges constraining effective learning and working condition has been addressed by the lawmaker and an Alumnus of the institution, Hon. Zannan Bungudu, noting the need for other products of the institution and those in position to do their own parts.
He said Zannan Bungudu’s name would be written in gold as far as the institution’s history as concerned.
Other numerous contributions offered the institution by Zannan Bungudu includes full package sponsorship to 50 indigenes of Bungudu/Maru and awarding contract for establishment of Artificial Intelligence library to boost modern research and innovations.
