Hon. Bajama made this known during an extensive interaction with journalists, where he stressed that no society can experience meaningful development without enduring peace and security.
He called on the people of Alkaleri to continue supporting government efforts, noting that collective responsibility remains essential to achieving shared goals.
According to him, “We must move together to succeed together.”
Speaking on security interventions, the chairman disclosed that the local government had provided four operational vehicles in the Duguri axis, in addition to motorcycles, to enhance surveillance and support security operatives in protecting lives and property across the area.
In the education sector, Hon. Bajama revealed that solar-powered electricity has been installed at the model secondary school constructed by Bauchi State Governor, Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed, in Yelwan Duguri, aimed at improving teaching, learning and overall academic performance.
The Alkaleri council boss also used the opportunity to dismiss allegations and misinformation linking Governor Bala Mohammed to terrorism-related activities, describing such claims as false, baseless and malicious.
He maintained that the governor is widely known for his firm stance against terrorism and his decisive role in restoring peace and security across Bauchi State.
Hon. Bajama further noted that the governor’s commitment to grassroots governance informed the recent creation of 14 new traditional emirates and the appointment of 142 district heads, a move aimed at bringing leadership closer to the people and accelerating development at the community level.
The Chairman expressed folds of appreciation to Governor Bala Mohammed for the establishment of the Duguri Emirate and the appointment of new district heads, while also offering prayers for the continued success of the governor, the Bauchi Emirate Council, and the Emir of Bauchi, Alhaji Dr. Rilwanu Sulaiman Adamu.
He prayed for lasting peace, economic prosperity and stability in Bauchi State and Nigeria at large.
