Aftermath of Protests: Taraba Gov Promises To Work With Youths

The Taraba State Governor, Dr Agbu kefas has reiterated the commitment of his administration to work closely with youths in the governance of the state.
The Governor said this during an interactive session with youths from across the sixteen local government areas of the state which took place at the office of the Governor’s wife Jalingo, the State Capital.
The Governor thanked youths for standing by his administration and assured them of his resolve to carry them along.
He stressed the need for them to galvanized ideas that would enable government to function optimally.
Governor Agbu kefas told the youths not to be praise singers but to always tell government the truth in the overall interests of the state and its citizens.
In his remarks, the Secretary to the Government of the Taraba State, SGS Gebon Timothy Kataps spoke of the commitment of the kefas administration to address some of the issues raised by the youths.
Some of the youths who spoke at the occasion from across local government areas told the Governor their needs which include vocational and development centers to be build across the state , lack of electricity and upgrade of medical facilities across the local government areas among others.
