Speaking to Echo Express shortly after the quarter- final match, the seasoned sports administrator expressed satisfaction with the quality of the Coach Eric Chelle’s team with a declaration that Morocco will not stand between Nigeria and playing in the finals of the tournament.

” I want to start by congratulating the Super Eagles for making Nigerians proud since the commencement of the tournament. Their victory over highly rated Desert Warriors of Algeria, did not come to me as a surprise because of the quality of the team and their fighting spirit.

” I strongly believe that they will come out victorious in their semi- final clash against the host nation, Morocco. Although the Atlas Lions boasts of quality players but our players are of better quality and will give a good account of themselves as is being witnessed since the commencement of the championship”, he stated with confidence.

Alhaji Sani Toro, expressed strong optimism that the team is unstoppable and looking forward to seeing them in the finals and hopefully lifting the trophy for the fourth time”
