ADC Vows To Win Taraba House of Assembly Bye-election
OKERAFOR ATHANATIUS, JALINGO
The Taraba State Chapter of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) has vowed to win the Karim I State Constituency seat in the scheduled for November 15, 2025 bye – election by organized by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
Hon. Hassan Adamu Muhammad, State Chairman of the ADC stated this Weekend while fielding questions from Journalists at ADC Party Secretariat in Jalingo, the State capital.
Muhammad said he was preparing to travel to Karim to oversee the party’s primary election slated for Saturday, July 19, 2025.
“We are going there for our primaries, after which, we start the preparations for the bye-election”,
“We are fully prepared and confident that we will win the bye-election for Karim I constituency by God’s grace. We are only waiting for the time”,
According to him, the party has two Aspirants for the forthcoming bye-election whom he posited are qualified and capable to carry the banner for ADC.
“We have two contestants and both of them are qualified to carry the banner of ADC in this election. If one decides to step down for the other, fine., that is consensus”,

“We are not afraid of either PDP or APC because, these two political parties no longer have value in our dear State. Everywhere you go, people are complaining, non fulfilment of promises, people are repeatedly saying, that they are tired of PDP and APC”,
“In various social media platforms, even at the local government level, it’s only ADC that the people are talking about”,
“PDP and APC will never pose any barrier to us because they are no more relevant in Taraba State. Taraba people are tired of these two political parties. Taraba people don’t consider them as political parties again in the State”,
“I call on all ADC members to always embrace peace according to our logo which says, everywhere you go, embrace peace. This is because where there is peace, there’s development, they should also be law abiding.
“Our supporters should keep the flag flying, Taraba people who have lost confidence on both PDP and APC, I urge you to join ADC because ADC is out to rekindle your hopes”, he added.
