ADC Chairman Hails Taraba at 34, Calls for Unity Ahead of 2027 Elections

The Chairman of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Taraba State, Hon. Hassan Adamu Muhammad (Matawallen Iware), has commended various leaders of the state for their contributions to its development as Taraba marks its 34th anniversary.

Speaking to Echo Express, Muhammad expressed gratitude to God for the milestone and assured citizens that the ADC is prepared to deliver meaningful progress if entrusted with leadership in the 2027 general elections.
He described the ADC as more than just a political party, calling it a “family” open to all Nigerians.
He emphasized that the party’s mission is to end the suffering under the current administration and empower youths to take up leadership roles that will unlock their potential for national growth.
Muhammad urged Tarabans to register and collect their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs), stressing that true celebration of the state’s anniversary should be matched with active participation in shaping its political future.
He also encouraged residents to remain law-abiding while appreciating Governor Agbu Kefas for maintaining relative peace and security in the state.
The ADC chairman outlined key areas of focus for the party, including youth and women inclusion, agriculture, education, healthcare, and security.
On his part, the ADC youth leader, Abubakar Audu, assured supporters that the party is building strong grassroots structures and expressed confidence that the ADC will succeed in 2027, promising a renewed Nigeria.
