Adamawa Polls: PDP Sweeps All the 21 LGCs

The Adamawa state Independent Electoral Commission has announced the results of the 2024 local government elections in Adamawa state.

Announcing the results on Sunday at the commission’s headquarters in Yola,
the Chairman of the Commission, Muhammad umar said Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) won all the seats for the chairmanship in all the 21 local government areas in Adamawa state.
While for the seat of councillorship in two hundred and twenty six wards in the state, the peoples Democratic party won Two hundred and twenty five wards while NNPP won only one ward in Demsa local government
Area.
He commended security agencies and political parties and the good people of Adamawa state that participated in the election.
