ADAMAWA POLICE BOLSTER SECURITY IN KOFARE -AGRIC FOLLOWING INCIDENT REPORTS

The Adamawa State Police Command has mobilized extra patrol teams to the Kofare-Agric area of the metropolitan city of Yola, following public reports and concerns over nighttime security incidents.
This decisive action comes in response to community reports alleging persistent attacks in the area on Thursday night.
The Commissioner of Police, CP Dankombo Morris, has acknowledged these reports and the public call for a stronger security presence.
“The Command remains fully committed to the protection of lives and property across the state,” CP Morris stated.
In direct response to the concerns, night patrols have been intensified, with additional operational teams deployed to strategic locations within Kofare-Agric to deter criminal activity and reassure residents.
A statement issued by the Command’s Spokesman, SP Suleiman Yahaya Nguroje, confirmed that while an investigation into the reported incidents is ongoing, proactive security measures have been significantly strengthened.

This security surge is being conducted in collaboration with sister security agencies and local community stakeholders.
SP Nguroje urged members of the public to remain calm and to continue their vital support for security forces. “We encourage residents to provide timely and credible information through our established channels. Community partnership is essential to maintaining safety,” he said.
