Adamawa PDP Mourns Zwingina

The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP Adamawa State Chapter has described the demise of former Senate Leader during the 4th Republic, Jonathan Silas Zwingina as a collosal loss not only to the Southern Senatorial Zone, Adamawa state but the entire party in the country.

The State Chairman of the party, Barrister A .T Shehu who disclosed this during a Telephone interview with our Correspondent in Yola, the Adamawa state capital extolled the distinctive and exceptional qualities of the Late Senator Zwingina as a rare gem, intelligent, illustrious, Vocal and patriotic elder statesman that traversed the nooks and crannies of Nigeria in 1999 to ensure that the PDP has come to stay.
Barrister Shehu who noted that he was among the first callers at the residence of Chief Joel Madaki, equates the late 4th Republic Senator to the likes of Professor Jibrin Aminu, Late Professor Iya Abubakar, Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar and the Pioneer Chairman of PDP in Adamawa state, Chief Joel Hammajoda Madaki.
He called for prayers from the PDP fold and the entire citizens of the country for the repose of the soul of the Late Senator.
