Taraba Gov Restates Commitment To Security Of Lives and Property

Taraba State Governor, Dr Agbu Kefas has reiterated his decision to prioritize the security of lives and property in the state.

The Governor stated this while handing over 100 motobikes and 10 hilux vehicles to Taraba Marshall, a state-sponsored security outfit established with the aim of boosting grassroots security and combating crimes.

Represented by Nelson Lens, Governor Kefas said the bikes and vehicles are to support the efforts of the agency in securing the state.

Governor kefas recalled that when he assumed office, residents of the state could barely sleep peacefully but the situation has improved, making the state safer.

He appreciated security outfits in the state for their continuous efforts in keeping Taraba safe and residents for their usual cooperation.

In a remark, Commandant of Taraba Marshall, Retired CP Agyole Abeh commended Governor Kefas for ensuring the state maintains a conducive security atmosphere.

Reited CP Abeh acknowledged that over the years, they have received tremendous support from Governor Kefas, and recent purchase of the vehicles and bikes is in continuation of his support, adding that the 100 bikes and 10 hilux vehicles will be distributed to the 16 local government areas of the state to beef up security across the state.
