Taraba lawmaker Len, empowers constituents with working tools, cash

Taraba State House of Assembly member, representing Nguroje State Constituency of Sardauna Local Government Area (LGA) of the State, Hon. Nelson C. Len has empowered his constituents with items ranging from motor-bikes, grinding mills, generators, sewing machines, clippers, chain saws, and cash.

The lawmaker who spoke to our Correspondent during a telephone conversation described the gesture as, “Empowerment Phase Impact on his Constituency” saying the gesture was aimed at helping them alleviate sufferings, be self reliant and also earn a living.
He added that he was accompanied to the venue of the event by the Sardauna local government chairman, Hon. Mohammed Umar, the Police Area Commander, the Divisional Police Officer (DPO) the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) chapter chairman, Councillors and critical Stakeholders from the constituency.
“Today, to the glory of God, I was accompanied by my LG chairman, Hon. Mohammed umar, Area Commander, DPO, PDP (Party) Divisional Chairman, Councillors and stakeholders, where I empowered some of my constituents”,
“Some went home with bikes, grinding mills, generators, sewing machines, clippers, chain saws, and cash”, he said.

The Legislator added that he was poised to empower the members of his Constituency with the items to help them start up a living that will, in turn, change their lives from the suffering state to a better life.
“I’m aware that it may not go all around, but I’m also aware that it can change a fortune in others’ lives”,
“As I hope to continue serving the good people of Nguroje Constituency, I’m committed to the betterment of their lives and peaceful coexistence”, said the lawmaker.
He further pledged to continue to render meaningful representation to Nguroje people at the State House of Assembly in Jalingo, the kind that would afford them the opportunity to move forward in life.
Hon. Len however, lauded the support he got from the state governor, Dr. Agbu Kefas whom he described as his boss, saying he is indeed very grateful.
He also appreciated the efforts of the people and stakeholders from the constituency, those who supported and have been supporting his impact movement project, saying God will bless them.
Congratulating the beneficiaries, Hon. Nelson C. Len urged them to make useful use of the items given to them and called them to support Governor Kefas agenda of moving Taraba forward, adding that Nguroje Constituency will also move forward.
