60 Schools Building Flag off: Taraba NUT Lauds Gov Kefas

The Nigeria Union of Teachers NUT, Taraba State Wing, has expressed profound appreciation to the Taraba State Governor, Dr Agbu Kefas, for his unwavering commitment to the advancement of education in the state.

The Union’s appreciation message is contained in a Press Release signed by the Chairman of the Taraba State Wing of the Nigeria Union of Teachers, NUT Comrade Nathan Solomon and made available to Echo Express in Jalingo, the state capital.

This commendation comes as the Governor officially flags off the construction of 60 new schools across the 16 local government areas of Taraba State.

Speaking on behalf of the Union, the NUT Chairman, Nathan Solomon, lauded the initiative, describing it as a landmark achievement that will significantly enhance access to quality education for children in the state.

He emphasized that the project aligns with Governor Kefas’s vision for a revitalized educational sector, which has already witnessed groundbreaking reforms since his assumption of office.

“This bold step by Governor Kefas demonstrates his genuine passion for education and the future of our children. The construction of these schools will not only provide a conducive learning environment but also create employment opportunities for teachers and other education sector stakeholders,” the NUT Chairman stated.

The union also applauded the Governor’s previous interventions in the education sector, including the provision of learning materials, and the introduction of innovative policies aimed at improving the standard of education in the state.

The NUT Taraba Wing reaffirmed its commitment to supporting the government’s efforts in ensuring that every child in Taraba State has access to quality education.

The union further called on all stakeholders to collaborate with the government in ensuring the successful implementation of this laudable project.
