6 Brigade To Commence 2024 Shooting Range Classification

The 6 Brigade Nigeria Army, Jalingo, Taraba State will commence the 2024 Annual Range Classification Phase 2 from Tuesday 17th to Thursday 19th September 2024 at the Military Range in Jimlari.
This information which is contained in a Press Release signed by the Assistant Director, Army Public Relations of the Brigade, Lieutenant Olubodunde Oni in Jalingo, the Taraba State Capital, said the event is part of the yearly Military routine.
The release stressed that the shooting exercise will be carried out by the Unit personnel to enhance their weapon handling and maintenance ability among others.
“During the exercise, there will be massive movements of troops and equipment including firing of live ammunition at the Military Range”.
Lieutenant Olubodunde Oni therefore advised members of the general public not to panic, saying adequate measures have already been put in place to ensure safety of lives and properties.
“They are further informed to stay away from the 114 Battalion near Jimlari Shooting Range area throughout the period of the exercise “.
