Finance Minister Commends Bauchi Gov for opening up State With Businesses, developmental Projects

The Minister of Finance and Coordinating Economy, Dr. Wale Edun, has described Governor Bala Mohammed as a Man of vision, Progressive who opens up Bauchi State Business with developmental Projects across the state.
The Minister gave the commendation when he led Members of the National Council on Finance and Economic Development (NACOFED) on a Courtesy Visit held on the Monday 18th November 2024 at Exco Chamber of Government House Bauchi.
He informed the Governor that, “this gathering of top Financial officials of the Country in Bauchí State are not here for lip service but would avail Members the opportunity to discuss Financial Matters and the difficult Macro Economic issues of the Country “.
He stated that the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu remain Committed towards addressing the Economic challenges facing the Country and therefore needs the support of all and Sundry particularly the Governors who are major Stakeholders in the economic growth of the Country.
Dr. Wale Edun expressed appreciation to Governor Bala Mohammed for hosting the all important National meeting which he believes will go along way in attracting more investors into the state for sustainable growth and development.
In his response, the Governor of Bauchi State, Senator Bala Mohammed Commended the Federal government under the leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for finding Bauchi State worthy of hosting this important National gathering of NACOFED meeting.
The Governor Commended the Minister of Finance Dr. Wale Edun in particular for doing his best to improve the Country’s Economy especially the Macro Economy which affects the Common Man directly.
Bala Mohammed explained that though Nigeria is the Seventh Oil Producing Nation, yet Nigerians are suffering hence the need for the Federal Government to device means through which the Oil and Gas Sub-sector would work effectively to serve the Masses.
Governor Bala Mohammed therefore Advocated for Continues inclusion, Stakeholding and Partnership to Promote Accountability and Transparency, Equity and justice for the rapid Socio-economic growth and development of the Country.
