2027: GOD HAS DESTINED ME TO BE GOVERNOR OF ADAMAWA STATE

The political landscape for the 2027 Governorship election in Adamawa State is heating up as Chief Caleb Andrew Myebangara, FCA, JP, has officilly and emphatically told Lutheran world Federation that he still remained the formidable candidate for PDP Governorship position in Adamawa state
Addressing a large gathering of Lutheran faithful, Chief Myebangara reaffirmed his commitment to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), vowing to clinch the party’s ticket and emerge as the next governor.
Chief Myebangara made the declaration on Saturday during a convention at the Covenant Ground in Demsa Local Government Area of the state.
Standing before the multitude, the aspirant, who proudly identified as a son of Demsa soil from Dong and holds the traditional title of Shetiman Batta, formally announced his aspiration under the PDP platform.
He said God giveth leadership to who so ever he wants and at the appropriate time.
“History will be recorded in 2027 because Demsa Local Government, which is from the Southern Senatorial Zone, will produce the next Governor of Adamawa State,” he declared to the congregation.
Drawing a parallel with national politics, the chartered accountant highlighted the precedent of banking professionals succeeding in governance.
“Zenith Bank has produced two Governors: Udom Emmanuel of Akwa-Ibom and Alhaji Kashim Shettima of Borno State, who is now the Vice-President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria,” he stated, emphasizing his own credentials and professional background.
To solidify his standing within the party and dispel rumors of a possible defection, Chief Myebangara reaffirmed his long-standing loyalty, noting he has been a member of the PDP since 1999. “I will not abandon what I have contributed in nurturing the party,” he said.
Beyond his political address, the aspirant sought the spiritual support of the church community, requesting prayers for the actualization of his ambition.
Demonstrating his commitment to the congregation, he announced a donation of N2 million and 20,000 bags of sachet water to support the convention.
The event also featured a moment of spiritual blessing for the hopeful candidate.
The President of the Lutheran Federation, Archbishop Panti Filibus, offered prayers for Chief Myebangara’s success in the 2027 gubernatorial race.
