2025 Hajj: NAHCON Allocates 1, 407 Seats To Taraba

One thousand four hundred and seven Seats have been allocated to the Taraba State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare board for the 2025 Intending Pilgrims to the Holy land of Saudi Arabia.

The outgoing Executive Secretary of the Board Umar Ahmed Chiroma Stated this while speaking on the level of preparations for the hitch free 2025 Hajj Exercise.
Hajj as one of the five pillars in Islam is been observed annually by an able Muslim at least once in a life time.
The Outgoing Executive Secretary Taraba State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare board Umar Ahmed Chiroma Said the board has reached an advance stage in terms of preparations as directed by the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria NAHCON.
Chiroma added that Currently over five thousand Pilgrims have paid their Hajj fares, calling on the remaining Pilgrims to hurriedly pay to meet the Dateline Set aside by the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria NAHCON.
He said the board is experiencing low patronage this year from the Intending Pilgrims, attributing it to the economic meltdown as farm produce and cattles have significantly dropped in price as farmers and herders are the major Patronizers of Hajj Seats.
Chiroma further said that the board will soon commence vaccination and Screening of the Intending Pilgrims as part of the finishing touches of Hajj Preparations as the board has finalized Arrangements for camping of the Intending Pilgrims in Jalingo the State Capital.
The Outgoing Executive Secretary made it clear that the board officials have Visited Saudi Arabia and got a befitting accomodations for Taraba State Pilgrims.
Umar Ahmed Chiroma commended the Taraba State Governor, Dr Agbu Kefas for sponsoring fifty Pilgrims, stressing that the gesture will go along way in helping many people to perform the 2025 Pilgrimage.
