2024/2025: Federal Polytechnic Bali Matriculates 612 Students.

The Federal Polytechnic Bali in Taraba State Northeast Nigeria has matriculated 612 students into various programmes of its Higher National Diploma (HND) and National Diploma (ND) respectively.

Speaking at the ceremony held on Wednesday in Bali Local Government Area of Taraba State, the Rector, Federal Polytechnic Bali, Dr. Mohammed Usman, urged the matriculating students to be committed to academic excellence.


Dr. Mohammed Usman, who was represented by the Deputy Rector of the Polytechnic, Engineer Sani Isa Abubakar, said the 2024/2025 admission is the Polytechnic’s 15th matriculation ceremony.

According to him, “This event marks the formal beginning of the 2024/2025 Academic session, and the official admission of the matriculating students to membership of the Polytechnic, Bali.


“It is indeed a joyous occasion of the fifteenth Matriculation Ceremony.”
The Rector said, “We are here not to just celebrate your formal admission into this institution, but to ignite a journey, one that will shape your mind, your purpose, your contribution to the world and lay a solid foundation for your future.”


He charged the Matriculants and other students to be intellectually curious, morally upright, and socially responsible by working extremely hard to achieve the desired academic objectives for which they were admitted.

He further urged the matriculating students to shun distractions and all social vices, including bad groups, peer pressure, cultism, exam malpractice, ethnic extremism, and others.

On the student’s welfare, the Rector said the Polytechnic has created the office of the Polytechnic Ombudsman to be headed by Barrister Lawi Nickson Abanyi, who will receive, investigate and mediate complaints from both the staff and students.


He added that the school has provided the SERVICOM Unit as an avenue for addressing complaints from the students.
Our correspondent says the Matriculated students comprises of *Six Hundred and Twelve (612)* students duly admitted and registered for Higher National Diploma (HND) and National Diploma (ND) programmes for the 2024/2025 Academic Session.


Eighty One (81)* students were admitted and registered for Part-Time National Diploma (ND) programmes of the Polytechnic.
