Taraba: APC’s e-registration will fast-track Tinubu/Kefas’ 2027 polls – Iliya

The Executive Chairman of the Taraba State Environmental Sanitation Agency, Hon. Iliya Kefas (Alhaji), has described the All Progressives Congress (APC) on-going electronic registration exercise as a medium set aside to fast-track the re-elections of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Agbu Kefas in the 2027 general elections.
Iliya Kefas stressed the need for the people of Taraba State to respond positively to the plea made by Governor Kefas concerning the exercise.
He spoke this Friday at Mayo-gwoi Community in Jalingo while responding to questions before newsmen shortly after performing his e- registration exercise.
Iliya Kefas, a.k.a Alhaji said, “our leader, our Governor has asked us to key into this registration exercise, let’s respond positively and participate in the registration.

“We have gathered here for the electronic Registration (e-registration) exercise of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in the State. The exercise is the passion we have for the APC, the Governor of Taraba State, Dr. Agbu Kefas and for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. The exercise will fast-track Tinubu and Kefas’ re-elections in 2027″, said Iliya.
“As you can see us here, the same thing is happening across the 16 Local Government Areas, even Yangtu and Ngadda development areas of the State. And our target before the end of the exercise here in Jalingo, is to get about 20 to 30 thousand registered members for APC and we believe that God will help us”.
On the secret behind the mammoth crowd of Taraba people that gathered at the venue of the exercise, Iliya attributed such to the passion the people of the State have for Governor Kefas and the support they have set aside for him during the 2027 general elections.
“What we really want to achieve is to make sure that both President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Governor Agbu Kefas and other APC flag-bearers win their elections in 2027 under the platform of APC”.
Speaking in an interview, Miss Esther Musa who hails from Nyamusala village of Jalingo local government area said she was at the e-registration venue to perform her own duty of registration since it was a call by the State Governor, Dr. Agbu Kefas for all to participate.
On what she really wants to achieve, miss Musa responded that she wanted Governor Kefas to be re-elected in 2027 general elections but her utmost desire is for the election to be peaceful.
George John from Turaki ‘B’ Ward of Jalingo local government area, an official of the exercise, told our Correspondent that the APC e- Registration exercise was moving smoothly and peacefully. “I believe that at the end of the day, the purpose of this exercise will be achieved. As they have queued up, let them be patient, everybody will get registered”, he said.
Our Reporter gathered that Governor Kefas of Taraba State recently flagged off the APC’s E-registration exercise in the three senatorial zones of the State, where he pleaded with the people to participate fully to prove their support for his administration and that of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
