12th Beijing Xiangshan Forum: Nigeria’s Defence Minister Joins Global Leaders

The Minister of Defence, Alhaji Mohammed Badaru Abubakar is among global leaders currently attending the 12th Beijing Xiangshan Forum which commenced this Wednesday 17 September 2025 in China.
The Forum witnessed Defence and military leaders from over 100 countries, including Singapore, Nigeria, Russia, France, Vietnam and Brazil, as well as representatives from international and regional organizations from around the globe.
According to Mali Ali, Personal Assistant to Nigeria’s Defense Minister on Media and Publicity, the theme for this year’s Forum is “Upholding International Order and Promoting Peaceful Development”.
The Forum will include 4 plenary sessions and 8 simultaneous sessions, with focuses on global security governance, Asia-Pacific security cooperation, safeguarding international order, and building regional peace.
